How do I use the new EBSCO interface?

Answer

EBSCOhost databases will have a new look and feel next year, beginning in Fall 2025! Until then, students and faculty will have the opportunity to use either the EBSCOhost Classic or EBSCOhost New user interface (UI). Both versions are now available to use on our A-Z Databases page as the Academic Search Complete database and the EBSCOhost Multi-Database Search. Give it a try!

The New UI provides access to the same content as Classic UI, plus many improvements including enhanced accessibility standards, a minimalist layout, personalized dashboards, greater citing and sharing options, and more! Learn more

The last day to access the Classic UI is August 1, 2025. If you have made persistent links to items using either interface, yesthese will remain active during and after the transition to the New UI. SDCC librarians would be happy to show you how best to use the New UI, either in-person or online. Sign up for a Research Appointment today!
