How do I buy my books with financial aid?

I got a grant to buy my books. How do I do that?

Answer

Student book purchases are handled by the campus Bookstore, which is a campus department separate from the Library. The Bookstore's direct contact information is citybook@sdccd.edu.

If you'd like to talk to someone right away, the Financial Aid department has a chatbot on their page and may also have live Zoom sessions: http://sdcity.edu/future-students/financialaid/index.aspx

Another option for guidance is Peer Mentor Services: http://www.sdcity.edu/students/services/peerlab/

You may also want to contact the Student Services department from which you received the grant (San Diego Promise, EOPS, CalWorks, etc.). You can find their contact information here: http://www.sdcity.edu/students/services/
